Why venture to Adventure Parks?
Some of the many benefits of climbing at our adventure park is being outdoors in nature, participating in a healthy, sustainable exercise. TreeRunner Parks provide a break from social media and cell phones in a fresh. According to the EPA – an outdoor air environment that has 2 to 5 times less air pollution than indoor activities.
What Should I Wear?
Closed-toed, securable shoes are required in order to climb. Tennis shoes are great but slip on shoes will be very difficult to climb in. We also recommend dressing for the weather. In warmer temperatures, loose-fitting clothing that fits under all of your harness straps for our full body harness is essential to prevent any uncomfortable harness rubbing. In cooler temperatures, layers are best in that you may be chilly when you start but you’ll warm up as you climb. We do climb in the rain as well, so bring your rain gear! Long hair should also be tied back and you’ll want to leave the dangling jewelry and scarves at home as you won’t be able to climb with those.
Is There Anything I Should Bring With Me?
You are welcome to bring water bottles and even coolers on site with you. In the hot weather, this is nice to have while climbing as it is a physical activity. In wet weather, bring your rain gear as we do climb in the rain.
How Long Does It Take?
The majority of our open climbing slots are for three hours of time in the park. That includes about a 30-40 minute harnessing and orientation session, and 2-2.5 hours of climbing. You’ll want to arrive about 15 minutes before your reservation to give yourself ample time to check in before your climb. Each of our courses takes on average about 30-45 minutes to complete, sometimes longer on harder and longer runs.
Are There Any Age, Height, Or Weight Restrictions?
On the Main Course, we have a weight limit of 265 pounds, and a height limit of 6’2”. To be able to climb independently throughout the course, kids must be at least 10 years old, 60 pounds, and 4’6” tall and be confident enough to climb by themselves. To climb with an adult through the course, the kids must be at least 7 years old.
On the Junior Park, the kids must be at least 4 years old up to 7 years old. The maximum weight is 55 pounds.
How Old Does My Child Need To Be?
Kids must be 4 years old to climb on the Junior Park and no more than 7 years old. 7-year-olds are welcome on our Main Course while climbing with an Adult. Kids must be at least 10 years old to climb independently.
Do I Need A Reservation?
Reservations are always highly recommended if you know when you would like to climb. That being said, we do accept walk-ins on a first come, first serve basis and only in the case that we have gear available.
Do I Need To Sign A Waiver?
Yes. All participants climbing on the course, as well as any patrons who wish to enter the park, even if they are not climbing, are required to sign a waiver. This can be done by clicking the link here: Sign Waiver
What Happens If It Rains?
We do operate in rain or shine, as our canopy of leaves provides adequate coverage in all but the heaviest of downpours. That being said, in the case of high winds, thunder, lightning, or heavy downpours, we will shut down the park for a hold to see if it passes and reopen if we are able. If you have a reservation, we do not offer refunds in the case of poor weather. However, we are able to reschedule your climb or provide a voucher to use at a later date. If you are in the middle of your climb and we need to shut down the course due to weather, you will receive a voucher to equal to the amount of time left on your ticket.
What Is Your Cancellation Policy If We Cannot Make Our Climb Time?
We do not offer refunds for cancellations, but we are always happy to reschedule your climb for another date or provide a voucher for you to schedule your climb at a later date.
What Happens If I Show Up Late?
If you are running late for your reservation, give us a call and we are happy to see if we can accommodate. Most times, we are able to push your start time back to a later time, though this might mean that you will get a bit less time to climb as that gear might have already been reserved for the next time slot after your climb. You are always able to reschedule as well if you are worried you are going to eat too much into your climb time.
Can I Bring Food On Site?
You are more than welcome to bring food and beverages on site. We do have picnic tables available to reserve either ahead of time or the day of your climb. If you do bring food on site, we do ask that you clean up after yourself before you leave.

How Difficult is it?
We have multiple courses in each of our difficulty levels. Ranging from really easy and stable to incredibly difficult, some require very little upper body strength and balance, while others are a decent physical challenge.
With this in mind, we require everyone to start on an Easy Course before attempting a Medium Course and complete a Medium Course before attempting a Hard Course.
